Psychiatry South Stockholm strives to be a leading example within Swedish psychiatry. We achieve this by working in a person-centered manner, providing the right competence for the patient's needs, emphasizing the application of evidence-based guidelines and care programs. We continue to invest in development work in the areas of patient safety, care processes, and our most important resource: the employee. We are over 750 dedicated employees who offer patients good, safe, and equitable care.
Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Young Adults is now looking for a psychologist for a collaboration project funded by the Stockholm City Coordination Board: the IPS Young Adults project.
About Us
The Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Young Adults is a clinic that works across diagnoses with the assessment and treatment of young adults aged 18–23. We work based on regional care programs with a broad perspective. Collaboration with family, relatives, as well as care partners, social services, job centers for young adults, and city districts is of great importance. The clinic is HBTQI-certified.
We are organized into several multiprofessional treatment teams consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, administrators, counselors, physiotherapists, and rehab coordinators. Our clinics offer a broad and varied range of care with different treatment methods.
The IPS Young Adults project belongs to Psychiatry Stockholm South through the Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Young Adults. The project is a collaboration between Stockholm Psychiatry South, the Stockholm City Employment Administration, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and Stockholm City. The project is funded by the Stockholm City Coordination Board (FINSAM). The project runs until 2028-12-31. Within the project, we support individuals with complex psychiatric issues, which often present challenges in receiving treatment interventions from psychiatry.
Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is an evidence-based method to help people with mental illness get and keep a regular job.
About the Role
We are now looking for a psychologist who, together with project staff, will be part of a development project focused on supporting patients with complex needs for support towards societal participation and work/studies.
The project's mission is to support, motivate, and guide participants towards societal participation, work/studies with the goal of self-sufficiency. You will conduct assessments and treat patients who may have different prerequisites, needs, and wishes. You will meet young adults with little or no activity outside the home, with various forms of difficulties or mental illness.
IPS Young Adults is a development project aimed at developing new ways of working and testing methods to benefit the target group of young adults with mental illness and/or complex needs. As an employee, you therefore need to thrive in a role that may change and develop, and you need to want to be an active part of that development process.
