As an electrical trainee, you will work closely with our electrical engineer and ship electrician to assist with daily operations and lighter electrical tasks.

You will also be responsible for simpler tasks in our maintenance system, and assist with loading and unloading, including connecting and disconnecting refrigeration units on trailers, trucks, motorhomes, and other units. This is a perfect role for you if you want your responsibilities to grow alongside your experience!

What we offer

We offer a permanent position with ship placement on M/S Skåne, departing from Trelleborg. The schedule typically consists of 1–2 weeks of shifts followed by equivalent paid time off.

Requirements for the position:

• Vocational upper secondary education in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Valid passport
• Fluency in Swedish (written and spoken) and good knowledge of English

All qualifications and certificates must meet the requirements of the STCW Manila Convention. Please attach a Seafarer's Service Record from the Swedish Transport Agency to your application.
