Your new workplace

We are now looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse (undersköterska) and wish to work with us at Stöde Home Care / Knutsgården Assessed Security Housing.

The team at Stöde Home Care / Knutsgården is a wonderful group consisting of assistant nurses, care assistants, managers, administrators, and nurses. The work area extends from central Stöde to large rural areas with beautiful nature nearby. We travel to our care recipients by car. Both men and women from various backgrounds work here. Knutsgården is a very pleasant Assessed Security Housing facility where our focus is on ensuring everyone feels safe and has a meaningful day.

We offer meaningful and varied work with the care recipient in focus. With a professional approach, you perform nursing and service interventions of good quality for our care recipients in their ordinary homes based on their needs. The needs can range from simple practical tasks to advanced and qualified nursing as well as health care interventions. We work together with several other professions such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to ensure good and safe care.

How you contribute in the role of assistant nurse

In the role of assistant nurse, you contribute to fulfilling the goals of the operations and are responsible for completing tasks. You provide service and good care based on the individual's decisions, ethical approach, and perform delegated health care interventions.

Your tasks include:

• providing nursing and service to care recipients with good quality
• serving as the primary care contact, which means having coordinating responsibility for the care recipient
• creating and following up on the implementation plan in dialogue and participation with the care recipient
• cleaning, laundry, and cooking
• documentation according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL)
• risk assessments regarding the care recipient and the work environment
• supervision of new employees and students
• development of operations and your own work methods
• performing delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL)

The work is varied, and you work both independently and together with colleagues. The job requires a high level of engagement and active participation in developing and improving operations. The work is flexible, and you will work both in home care out in the community and at the Knutsgården facility.

Your skills and experience

You are a trained assistant nurse with an interest in working with people. To succeed in the role, you are responsible and engaged, with the ability to put yourself in other people's situations. You have the ability to collaborate, create, and maintain good relationships with users, relatives, and colleagues. The job requires that you can speak and write in Swedish and understand and access written information. Our operational and documentation systems are a prerequisite for us to fulfill our mission, so you need to have basic digital competence.

A driver's license and access to a car are required as bus connections are poor at certain times and periods. Working hours are scheduled with day, evening, and weekend shifts. Personal suitability is given great weight.
