We are now looking for a Laboratory Engineer for our quality laboratory in Frövi.

You will be part of our Safety, Quality, and Environment service section, where we support operations with analyses and quality monitoring related to production.

As a Laboratory Engineer, you will work with both routine analyses and more in-depth problem-solving. The role is crucial for ensuring stable quality in production – where precision in daily work is combined with the opportunity to contribute analyses, improvements, and technical conclusions.

The position is a permanent employment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing laboratory analyses and quality controls
• Planning, monitoring, and evaluating laboratory work
• Ensuring the quality of measurement data and reporting results
• Problem-solving in collaboration with production and other functions
• Working with and improving analysis methods, as well as ensuring the functionality of instruments

The work involves rotation between several laboratory stations, where you will gradually build independence in the various tasks.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of Laboratory Engineer, we believe you have:

• A university degree in engineering, for example in chemistry, or equivalent. Alternatively, work experience that Billerud considers equivalent
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Experience in laboratory work is an advantage.
