Disability Services in Uppsala
Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within disability services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are looking for a licensed psychologist to join the assessment team at the Disability Services for Intellectual Disability and Autism in Uppsala. The position is a full-time temporary assignment from 2026-08-01 to 2026-03-31.

Our Operations
The assessment team is a county-wide operation that investigates children and adolescents aged 0–17. The team is part of the Disability Services in Uppsala County, with approximately 170 employees working in Enköping, Tierp, Uppsala, and Östhammar. The mission of the operation is to contribute to good health and the best possible functional capacity, as well as good conditions for an independent life and active participation in society for the children, adolescents, and adults we serve.
Your Qualifications
You are a licensed psychologist with experience in assessment. The duties include conducting assessments regarding developmental issues such as intellectual disability, autism, and ADHD.
It is an advantage if you have training in ADOS-2 and ADI-R and are familiar with using these instruments. We would also appreciate experience working with children and young people.
Additional advantages include knowledge of extensive and long-term disabilities, as well as experience and the ability to collaborate and convey knowledge about the consequences of disabilities for the individual, family, and other networks. As a psychologist with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel safe.
You always put the patient first and are responsible in your work. You are not only a skilled psychologist but also an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to a good work environment. Great emphasis is placed on your ability to work independently and in a structured manner. You have good collaboration skills and are motivated by developing the operations. You express yourself well both orally and in writing.
