About the operations

The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic is today one of the country's largest clinics for the care of patients according to the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care (LRV). The clinic also has the task of caring for particularly care-demanding patients according to the Act on Psychiatric Compulsory Care (LPT). The clinic is facing an expansion where the number of wards will be increased to 10 and the care places to 135. The clinic offers a good working environment with varied work in terms of both tasks and working hours. We are now looking for a nurse/aide for the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic in Sundsvall. The position is a 6-month fixed-term contract, full-time, with access as agreed.

Job description

As a nurse/aide at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic, you are part of a multidisciplinary team that takes care of the patient's daily needs for forensic psychiatric care.

You will among other things:

• Plan, implement and follow up on care and nursing interventions
• Accompaniment during outdoor visits
• Social activation
• Support patients to daily activities
• Contribute to the ward's ongoing operations as part of a health-promoting context. May include cleaning, handling errands, preparing meals and other practical tasks performed together with colleagues. You will be trained by experienced staff according to an onboarding document where you will learn routines, safety thinking, work methods, documentation and interaction.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you

• Are educated as a nursing assistant, nurse/aide or other education relevant to the position
• Have additional language skills
• Have a B driving license
