Blomsterlandet is Sweden's leading chain of stores for plants and garden accessories, with approximately sixty stores from Luleå in the north to Malmö in the south, as well as an e-commerce site open around the clock. The first store opened in Jönköping in 1989, and the business continues to expand with the goal of establishing itself in more cities and constantly developing. Today, the organization consists of over 700 dedicated employees and is in an exciting growth phase!

About the Role

Blomsterlandet Gävle is an established store that is now looking for new employees. Here, a dedicated team of various ages works together to create an inspiring store environment and offer our customers knowledge, service, and plant joy.

We are now, on behalf of our client, looking for you who want to be part of this journey and take on a role as a store sales assistant for approximately 50%, i.e., 20-30 hours per week.

The store is open weekdays from 10:00–19:00 and weekends from 10:00–17:00. The position involves working at varying times throughout opening hours and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide good customer service and assist customers in the store

• Staff the cash register and handle payments

• Participate in daily sales activities

• Receive, unpack, and stock goods, as well as work with product display in the store

About You

• Has experience in retail operations

• Positive, receptive, and solution-oriented

• Structured and organized with good prioritization skills

• Focused on creating a fantastic customer experience and spreading plant joy

• Interest in plants, flowers, and gardening is a plus

We are looking for you who have the right attitude, drive, and willingness to develop. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities, teamwork skills, and engagement!

Employment Type: The position is a fixed-term employment between May and August, with a good chance of extension.

Start Date: Immediately

Salary: According to the commercial collective agreement
