We are now looking for a Receptionist at Scandic No. 53.
Regardless of why guests visit us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team, creating a world-class guest experience.

What does the role involve?
As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the hub of the network, ensuring the guest is always in focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details, ensuring guest requests are met. You always have a smile on your lips and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most things and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. The role also includes administrative work, security tasks, and sales activities.
Work at the reception involves checking hotel guests in and out, welcoming them, and providing them with the information they need for their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is performed with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.
The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working in shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
Who are you?
To fit the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling multiple things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.
You also have experience and knowledge in using computers as a work tool.
Since the job involves a lot of communication with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. Speaking an additional language is an advantage.
Above all, your personal qualities and attitude are most important. To fit the role, you need to be an attentive and non-hierarchical team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
Information about the position
The position is a permanent part-time employment, working every other weekend.
