As a nurse in Halmstad Municipality, you are a key person in the work to provide safe and quality care to people with disabilities. Your responsibilities

In the role of nurse, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on health and medical care interventions. You handle medication, specific nursing care, and documentation. Your daily work is varied and involves close collaboration with colleagues and relatives.

You will, among other things:

• Assess and plan care interventions based on the patient's needs
• Implement and follow up on treatments and medication management
• Mentor, delegate, and educate nursing staff
• Provide advice and support to users and relatives
• Contribute to good teamwork and a safe care environment

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. If you have further education or experience within disability and psychiatry, it is meritorious. You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and are accustomed to working with digital systems. A driver's license for a passenger car with a manual transmission is a requirement.

To succeed in the role, you also need the following competencies:

• Initiative – You take your own initiatives when needed and act proactively to solve problems and improve care.
• Transparent communication – You share information openly and clearly, so that everyone in the team has the right conditions to collaborate.
• Problem-solving – You analyze situations and find solutions that work in practice, even when conditions change.
• Stress resilience – You maintain calm and prioritize correctly even under pressure, to create security for patients and colleagues.

Working hours are currently scheduled daytime, Monday - Friday 40h/week.
