About Us

Capio Artro Clinic is Sweden's leading sports injury clinic. We are a highly specialized orthopedic clinic established in 1992 as part of S:t Göran's Hospital. Since 2007, the clinic has been located at Sophiahemmet in central Stockholm, and since 2015, we have also been located in the Globen area. We are a highly specialized orthopedic practice offering both arthroscopic surgery for the knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, and elbow, as well as hip and knee replacement surgery. We perform approximately 5,000 operations per year on our surgical department and perform the highest number of cruciate ligament surgeries in Sweden. In addition to pure orthopedics with outpatient work and surgery, the clinic also has one of Stockholm's largest specialist operations in physiotherapy with a focus on sports medicine and orthopedics. Rehabilitation is provided both at Sophiahemmet and at a branch in the Globen area.

Capio Artro Clinic collaborates with the Center for Sports Injury Research and Education (CIFU), which is a center established together with the Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery (MMK) at Karolinska Institutet and the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH). Through CIFU, we have created a creative environment where clinical work, research, and education are conducted under the same roof within the Sophiahemmet area.

Thanks to our large rehab team of physiotherapists specialized in sports medicine, orthopedics, and OMT, we can follow the patient all the way – from injury to return to activity, exercise, and sport. Your Role

We have a large team of 50 physiotherapists distributed across our two units, Globen and Sophiahemmet. We strive to be a developing and joyful workplace with a high ceiling and close collaboration. Your work as a licensed physiotherapist covers the entire chain from the initial injury assessment to specific return to physical activity. We have close collaboration with other professions and strive to work in a team-oriented manner and drive the business forward together. Here you will have the opportunity to work with both pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, participate in research projects, and further educate yourself within your area of interest.

About You

You are a licensed physiotherapist with specialist competence issued by the professional union Fysioterapeuterna within sports medicine, orthopedics, or OMT. Being a finished specialist is a requirement as we at Capio Artro Clinic work under an agreement within the Stockholm healthcare choice for specialized physiotherapy.
