Hudiksvall Resource School was established in 2024 and is organized under the central student health service. The school has 14 student places for grades 4–9 and is located adjacent to Skolbyns School. The team consists of teachers, special education teachers, counselors, the principal, and student health personnel who work closely together.

The Resource School is a facility where safety, relationship building, and a preventive approach are at the center. The operations are characterized by high staff density, close collaboration, and individualized solutions based on each student's needs.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a leisure center teacher (fritidshem) on a part-time basis for the autumn term, with the main working hours in the afternoons.

The role involves supporting a small group of students during their time at the leisure center, focusing on structure, safety, and meaningful activities. You will plan and conduct activities that promote social development and independence, as well as contribute to safe and predictable transitions throughout the day.

The position also includes some support in teaching during the school day, in close collaboration with teachers and the student health team. You will become an important part of creating a cohesive and safe school day where the leisure center's mission to stimulate learning and development is at the center.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a qualified leisure center teacher with experience working with students in need of special support.

You are secure, clear, and flexible in your approach, and work in a low-affective and solution-focused manner. You have a good ability to build relationships and adapt operations to the individual's needs. Experience working in NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) adapted environments is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application period has ended.
