ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you have overall responsibility for the company's payroll process from start to finish. You ensure that salaries are handled correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with current regulations, while also serving as a key support to managers, HR, and employees regarding payroll-related matters.

The role combines operational work with development, where you actively contribute to improvements in processes, routines, and systems. You work closely with the business and become a key player in an organization where change, development, and collaboration are high priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for and ensuring correct payroll disbursements throughout the organization, including careful review of benefits, pension provisions, and personnel data.
• Handle complex payroll issues with in-depth competence in legislation, collective agreements, and labor law regulations.
• Provide qualified advice to managers and employees on payroll-related matters.
• Create structured and transparent reporting and documentation of payroll processes.
• Implement and further develop routines and systems for efficient payroll management.
• Provide professional support to the HR department on payroll matters.
• Responsible for reporting HR KPIs in BI systems.

YOUR PROFILE

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in qualified payroll work.
• Experience with independent responsibility for the entire payroll process.
• Good knowledge of collective agreements and labor law.
• Experience working with unionized employees.
• Very good understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
• Interest in systems and good system proficiency in payroll.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Flex HRM/Payroll.
• Experience with outsourcing/insourcing of payroll functions.
• Experience with payroll system implementations or project work.
• Practical experience with payroll management in accordance with the Depot Agreement (Depåavtalet).
• Experience from manufacturing companies or complex organizations.
