The Implementation Division of the Air Warfare School is looking for a Staff Assistant (GSS/K)
About the Unit
The Air Warfare School (LSS) is the Air Force's joint competence centre for development and education. LSS creates the conditions for the Swedish Armed Forces' growth by educating soldiers, cadets, and employed personnel, as well as developing the Air Force's organization, tactics, and technology.
You will be part of the Air Warfare School's staff and the Implementation Division. Currently, 13 employees, both civilian and military, work at the division.
About the Position
As a Staff Assistant in the Implementation Division, your main tasks will involve the Air Force's basic training for conscripts, competence supply, as well as attraction and recruitment within the Air Force.
The Staff Assistant provides administrative support within the education sector as well as in attraction and recruitment. You will, among other things, support the planning and implementation of recruitment communication and other activities aimed at strengthening the Swedish Armed Forces' and the Air Force's employer brand.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and follow-up of components in the Air Force's basic training for conscripts.
- Support the work of developing and creating routines, documentation, and instructions.
- Support the development and experience management for the Air Force's competence supply.
- Provide administrative and practical support in the daily work of the division.
- Support the development and improvement of internal routines and administrative processes.
- Support information dissemination to the Air Force's OrgE.
Qualifications
- Completed upper secondary education.
- Completed and approved Basic Military Training (GMU).
- Completed and approved General Platoon Commander Training (GBU).
- Category B driver's license.

Meritorious Qualifications
- Good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces and the Air Force's organization.
- Good proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Previous service as a GSS/CVAT within the Swedish Armed Forces.
- Experience working in an administrative role/position.
- Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces' support systems VIDAR and PRIO.

Other Information:
- Employment type: Military position. Fixed-term employment under the GSS/K agreement for a maximum of 8 years. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a 6-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.
- Position level: OR 4–5.
- Employment level: Full-time.
- Work location: Uppsala. The work involves travel as the Air Force has units throughout the country.
- Expected start date/entry: As soon as possible or by agreement.
