About the operations

The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic is today one of the country's largest clinics for the care of patients under the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care (LRV). The clinic also has the task of caring for especially care-demanding patients under the Act on Psychiatric Compulsory Care (LPT). The clinic is facing an expansion where the number of wards will be increased to 10 and the care places to 135. The clinic offers a good working environment with varied work in terms of both tasks and working hours. We are now looking for a nurse/aide for the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic in Sundsvall. The position is a permanent full-time employment with access according to agreement.

Job Description

As a nurse/aide at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic, you are part of a multidisciplinary team that takes care of the patient's daily needs for forensic psychiatric care.

You will among other things:

• Plan, implement and follow up on care and nursing interventions
• Accompaniment during outdoor activities
• Social activation
• Support patients in daily activities
• Contribute to the ward's ongoing operations as part of a health-promoting context. May include cleaning, handling errands, preparing meals and other practical tasks performed together with colleagues

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are trained as a nurse/aide or assistant nurse with professional certification, have other education assessed as relevant for the position, or alternatively have experience from working in forensic psychiatry or correctional services
• Have experience from working in forensic psychiatry or correctional services
• Master the Swedish language in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have a B driving license
