Then you are the right person for us in the SDK team at Digg. SDK (Secure Digital Communication) is a shared administrative infrastructure used by government agencies, regions, and municipalities to exchange information in a simple, secure, and safe manner. Digg is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure is easy to connect to, robust, and secure. You will also be stepping into an exciting phase. Digg and PTS are preparing a merger to become a strengthened authority for digitalization issues from 2027.

About the job

We are now looking for two system developers to work with SDK. Here, you will help develop and maintain a socially important digital infrastructure used by actors throughout the public sector. You will work closely with the entire development chain – from development and testing to deployment and maintenance. The role is broad and varied, involving both backend and frontend work, APIs and integrations, as well as container-based environments in OpenShift. You will also contribute to automated flows for testing, building, and delivery. The work includes both new development and further development with a focus on security, stability, and long-term maintainability. Here, you will work in a team where collaboration, quality, and a holistic perspective are at the center.

We believe in the strength of different experience levels and are therefore looking for both you who have a few years of experience in system development and you who have worked longer in the field.

The job includes among other things:

• develop and maintain services, APIs, and components related to SDK
• work with backend and frontend development
• contribute to technical decisions, architecture, and solution design
• work with deployments, pipelines, and automated flows
• analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
• contribute to testing, documentation, and quality assurance
• collaborate closely with colleagues within the team and the business
• contribute to SDK continuing to be secure, robust, and easy to use for the public sector

About you

To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to have the following competencies, knowledge, and experiences:

Experiences and knowledge - requirements

• Experience in backend development with Java for at least 3 years
• Experience in frontend development, e.g., Vue, React, Angular for at least 2 years
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience with Quarkus and/or Spring
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience with team-based development according to agile principles
• Experience in automating build, test, and delivery flows in container-based environments, at least 2 years
• Experience working with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing

Experiences and knowledge - meritorious

• Experience working with Git, GitLab, and GitHub
• Experience with certificate management

Education

Digg and PTS form a joint authority

The Government has decided that Digg and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) will merge into a joint authority from January 1, 2027.

The purpose is to strengthen Sweden's digitalization by bringing together our competencies in areas such as digital infrastructure, data, and AI within the same organization. The joint authority will have a broader mandate and better conditions to contribute to a more cohesive digital society.
