About Us

Welcome! Primary Care Center Oxelösund is looking for you who is a specialist physician in general practice or geriatrics. The center is well-established and serves approximately 9,100 registered residents. It is centrally located in Oxelösund, close to nature and the sea, with good commuting opportunities and ample parking.

We offer manageable caseloads for specialists, with a limited number of registered patients (1,000 per doctor). There are also opportunities for secondary assignments, remote work, research, and professional development. We strive to be a flexible workplace for our specialists.

The center has approximately 45 employees who agree that the strengths of the center are teamwork and good collaboration for our registered patients. Here, doctors, nurses, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors, psychologists, psychotherapists, rehab coordinators, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries work together. The medical group consists of specialist physicians, resident physicians (ST), junior doctors, and continuously one to two trainee doctors (AT).

At Primary Care Center Oxelösund, we work in teams with the goal that the patient reaches the right resource at the right time. We work to ensure that all our registered patients have a fixed, named specialist physician or resident physician and belong to a fixed team.

Your Responsibilities

Day-to-day work at the center includes emergency reception, planned appointments, and an on-call doctor function that answers questions during the day. You will naturally collaborate with other professions at the center and serve as a supervisor for resident/trainee doctors. You are part of a medical group that together develops primary care with a focus on quality, continuity, accessibility, and attractiveness.

Certain on-call and standby duties are included.

Your Qualifications

• You are a licensed physician and specialist in general practice, or alternatively a final-year resident physician, or a specialist in geriatrics.
• You enjoy working independently with varied tasks.
• You have good collaboration skills and flexibility.
• You have experience working at a primary care center and are interested in developing primary care.
• A B-class driver's license is desirable but not required.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
