About Us

Frostbrunnsgården HVB is a small and family-like residence in Borlänge Municipality with eight places. The target group is boys aged 13–17 with various forms of psychosocial problems such as emerging criminality, acting-out behavior, staying in unsuitable environments, disrupted schooling, and dysfunctional family relationships. It is common for the youths to have a neuropsychiatric diagnosis, such as ADHD.

We are a professional and secure team focused on being there for the youths and helping them get good prerequisites based on their abilities and needs in life. We work primarily based on learning psychological principles and evidence-based methods with a focus on CBT. Other parts of our treatment setup include primarily RePULSE. We operate from a low-affective approach and attitude.

About the Role

We are now looking for a treatment pedagogue who wants to work as a substitute on an hourly basis with us – shifts can be during daytime, awake nights, and weekends.

Your main tasks include:

• Daily treatment work
• Creating and ensuring security through supervision and interaction
• Being responsible for cleaning duties and self-checks required by the role
• Documenting in accordance with our routines
• Administering medication according to prescription after delegation by a registered nurse

The position is a fixed-term employment. The work takes place during daytime, evenings, nights, and weekends. Salary is agreed upon, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement. Start date is agreed upon.

As a person, you are responsible, relationship-building, flexible, and secure. In the role, it is important that you show great empathy while having the ability to set boundaries when needed. The work involves close and trustful collaboration with your colleagues, so you must have good communication and teamwork skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required upon employment.

To apply for the position, you must:

• Be educated as a social pedagogue, social worker, treatment pedagogue, or have another completed post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent
• Have experience in treatment work
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have good computer literacy as documentation occurs to a high extent
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B)
