We are now looking for an experienced HSEQ Coordinator for a comprehensive industrial and sustainability project within the energy transition. The role involves supporting the project's HSSEQ function and the rest of the project organization to ensure systematic and proactive work in health, safety, environment, and quality throughout the project's implementation.
The focus is on follow-up, audits, compliance, and the implementation of processes and routines in a complex project environment with many internal and external stakeholders.
You will work closely with project management, occupational health and safety functions, environmental specialists, and quality managers.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for, among other things:
General HSEQ Support
- Structure and administer documentation in the project's systems and platforms
- Monitor KPIs and the project's HSEQ performance
- Produce reports and analysis materials
- Identify recurring deviations, risks, and areas for improvement
- Contribute to proactive safety and quality work by monitoring high-risk activities
Occupational Health and Safety
- Support the project's occupational health and safety work according to current legal requirements and internal guidelines
- Ensure functioning processes for incident management, risk assessments, and work preparation
- Plan and follow up on safety rounds, safety inspections, and occupational health follow-ups
- Follow up on incidents, near-misses, and risk observations, and ensure that corrective actions are implemented
- Coordinate relevant HSE training for project members and contractors
Audits and Quality Assurance
- Plan and coordinate internal audits and inspections
- Further develop audit plans and follow-up processes within occupational health, quality, and environment
- Ensure compliance with the project's governing documents and working methods
- Follow up on control plans, deviations, and improvement measures
- Ensure traceability and closure of NCRs and other deviation cases
Environment
- Collaborate with the environmental function to ensure that environmental requirements are implemented in the project
- Monitor contractors' work related to environmental routines and control programs
- Participate in and coordinate environmental audits and follow-ups
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 7–10 years of experience in HSEQ, quality, or occupational health follow-up in large construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects
- Experience with audits, follow-up, and strong analytical skills
- Very good organizational and administrative skills with a structured approach to work
- Good communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders
- Independent in your work with the ability to take initiative and drive processes forward
- Good knowledge of Swedish occupational health and safety legislation
- Practical experience in occupational health and safety work within construction and industrial projects
- Knowledge of quality management systems and audit methodology
- Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
