About the role

We are currently looking for a skilled welder with an interest in workshop technology for one of our clients in Motala.

What the role entails

Your main responsibility will be welding stainless steel and aluminum using the TIG method based on technical drawings with high quality requirements. Occasional welding in black metal is also part of the role. The company has a broad product range, meaning you will weld components of varying sizes and dimensions. In addition to welding, other workshop tasks and material preparation such as cutting, sawing, drilling, and turning are included. You will also assist with the company's inbound and outbound deliveries, handling goods with daily forklift operation. Start: Immediately or as agreed Working hours: Daytime The assignment will start as a consultancy role with the ambition of permanent employment with the client company in the long term.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an industrial technical education with a focus on welding, at least at the upper secondary level.
• Is comfortable and confident with TIG welding in stainless steel. Experience with MIG/MAG and black metal welding is preferred.
• Has good knowledge of technical drawings.
• Has general workshop technology skills such as cutting, sawing, and drilling of materials.
• Hold a forklift license TLP 10 A+B.
• Hold a category B driver's license.
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Having a valid or previous TIG/stainless steel welding license is highly meritorious. As a person, it is important that you are social and positive. You need to be adaptable and flexible as you work closely with colleagues in small production teams and help out where needed. Furthermore, it is important that you are responsible, quality-conscious, and meticulous.
