Your Role

Do you want to be part of something big and play a key role in the manufacturing of the Gripen? Take the chance to join our team as an Assembly Fitter. As an Assembly Fitter, you will be part of our dedicated team where you will have the opportunity to manufacture the Gripen fuselage through various processes such as drilling, screwing, and riveting. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will collaborate closely with your team, giving you a fantastic opportunity to grow and learn from experienced colleagues.

We are looking for someone who wants to take on new challenges and thinks long-term regarding employment with us. Your journey with us starts in November 2026 with a comprehensive and exciting 12-week training program where you will receive all the tools and knowledge needed to step into the role!

The workplace is located in Tannefors, Linköping, and the work will be scheduled during daytime hours.

Your Profile

This is a role for you if you thrive in practical and physical work where you get to use your hands a lot. If you have previous experience in assembly or similar practical trades, this is seen as an asset, but we also welcome those who wish to try a completely new direction in their professional lives.

We are looking for someone who collaborates well with others and contributes to a positive work environment. You work meticulously with a focus on quality and are flexible when needed, while also being curious and having a desire to learn new things.

Other requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Proficient computer skills.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
