Grums Primary Care Center is a well-functioning and pleasant clinic with approximately 7,000 registered patients. We are located centrally in Grums, just about a ten-minute walk from the travel center and approximately 20 minutes by car from Karlstad.

We are part of the Southern Karlstad operational area, together with the primary care centers Gripen, Tullholmen, Västerstrand, and Skoghall, as well as Vårdcentral Värmland and the Karlstad Emergency Center. This gives us both the security of a larger context and the personal feeling in our daily work.

At our clinic, specialist doctors, ST and AT doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, care administrators, psychologists, podiatrists, and unit managers work closely together. We believe in teamwork, participation, and that all professions are important to create the best possible care and a good working environment.

Your responsibilities

In recent years, we have actively worked on developing our working methods, patient flows, and medical quality, which has yielded excellent results. We have good accessibility, well-functioning routines, and are on track with both annual check-ups and waiting lists. At the same time, we continue to develop - improvement work is a natural part of our daily routine and something we do together.

As a district nurse with us, you will have a varied, independent, and meaningful job. You will work with your own clinic hours as well as telephone and digital advice, and you will also be responsible for the nurses' emergency clinic a few times a week.

You will become an important part of our cross-professional team where we support each other, share knowledge, and collaborate around the patients through daily team rounds. This creates both security in work and a good workflow in everyday life.

With us, you will become part of a warm and dedicated nursing team consisting of six competent district nurses and nurses who appreciate professionalism, development, and a good atmosphere at work.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who are a district nurse and who thrive in the varied daily life of primary care. You have experience working at a primary care center and enjoy combining independent work with close collaboration in a team.

Right now, we are specifically looking for you who are curious about and engaged in dementia care or who already have advanced competence in the area. With us, you will have the opportunity to follow patients over time, build secure relationships, and make a real difference for both patients and relatives. We see dementia care as an important, developing, and very meaningful work where care, continuity, and collaboration are at the center.

If you have further education in dementia, it is a big plus, but we also welcome you who want to develop in the area together with us. Further education in areas such as diabetes, heart failure, or asthma/COPD is also meritorious.

We are looking for a person who meets both patients and colleagues with warmth, engagement, and professionalism. You like structure but also appreciate that no day is exactly like the other.
