Working in home care means helping another person continue living in their own home, even if they cannot manage all tasks or care for themselves as desired. The assistance needed is highly individual and can range from a short visit to check that everything is okay, to help with everything required to get up in the morning, get into bed in the evening, and everything in between.

We also assist our nurses and physiotherapists with certain tasks delegated to us. This may involve administering medication or carrying out an exercise program.

Qualifications

  • A valid B-class driver's license and BankID are required to work.
  • Education or experience in the field is desirable. However, training will be provided, so even if you are new to the area, you are encouraged to apply.
  • Personal suitability and good interpersonal skills are prerequisites.
  • Digital proficiency is required as the job responsibilities involve the use of computers and mobile phones.
  • Meeting with various people and the requirement to document mean that you must master the Swedish language and be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing.
  • The job requires flexibility, a service-oriented attitude, and a sense of responsibility.
  • You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Multilingualism is an advantage.
