Nurse for Summer Assignment at SÄBO/Short-term Care in Värmland

Selecta Recruitment is now looking for a registered nurse for a summer assignment in one of Värmland's beautiful municipalities. Here you have the chance to combine meaningful work with Värmland's fantastic nature, proximity to archipelago life by Lake Vänern, and lovely summer evenings.

The assignment runs from immediately until week 33 and is on a full-time basis. The work is located at special needs housing (SÄBO) and short-term care, with shifts distributed across a flexible schedule involving mixed day, evening, and weekend work.

Responsibilities

In the role of a nurse within municipal care and support, you are responsible for providing good and safe care to the residents. Your main tasks include:

• Assessments, acute interventions, and planned nursing measures.
• Medication management and delegation to nursing staff.
• Collaboration with doctors, rehab teams, and relatives.
• Documentation according to current legislation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a registered nurse with a couple of years of experience (preferably within municipal health care).
• Are confident and independent in your professional role, as the work requires a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Have good teamwork skills, are flexible, and can adapt quickly to new environments.
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and experience with medical record systems.
