Friday is recruiting on behalf of a client for a communicative and engaged Calculation Engineer. The client works on developing technologies to meet future demands, serving various industries such as aviation or the automotive industry. They are now expanding their team in Trollhättan and are therefore looking for a Calculation Engineer who wants to work with calculations and analysis. The client values your professional as well as personal development and therefore offers continuous competence development in the form of internal and external courses and internal development opportunities.

As a Calculation Engineer, you will be part of a team consisting of both senior and junior colleagues, where you will work together on large and small projects, depending on the project and needs. In this role, you will work with everything from generating calculation models to performing analyses, such as strength or vibration analyses. Furthermore, you will actively influence the design of products and ensure that the requirements for each product are met. The client works with FEM and commercial software, including Nastran, ANSYS, ANSA, or Abaqus.

• Hold a Master of Science degree in Applied Mechanics or equivalent, with a focus on strength, structural dynamics, or similar.
• Were fascinated by the calculation part during your studies and have preferably focused on this in various project works and similar.
• Are fluent in Swedish, both in speech and writing.

The following are considered meritorious:

• Work experience in similar tasks.
• Experience with commercial software such as Nastran, ANSYS, ANSA, or similar.
• Projects in a relevant area that you can present.

Furthermore, great importance will be placed on personal suitability. To fit in and thrive in the role, you must be driven, enjoy working in a project-based manner, and have an analytical approach. You are curious while also wanting to share your knowledge with others. Since you work in a team with other colleagues and have contact with the company's customers, we see that you are communicative and have an easy time building good relationships internally as well as externally.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client's and our side is that you will transition into employment with the client after a period of time.
