Your responsibilities

As an Instrument/Automation Technician, you are responsible for the operation, service, and maintenance of instrumentation and control equipment in a process plant. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshooting, calibration, and verification of sensors, transmitters, meters, and control equipment.
• Maintenance and functional testing of valves, actuators, and other field equipment.
• Documentation of actions and updating of plant data.
• Participation in improvement work and optimization of measurement and control systems.
• Collaboration with operational staff and other technical functions at the customer site.
• On-call duties may occur.

Your background and skills

We are looking for someone who has:

• Worked as an industrial electrician wanting to take the next step in their career, or as an automation technician.
• Experience in instrumentation technology within industry, process plants, or experience as an automation engineer.
• Good understanding of measurement principles and process equipment.
• Experience with field troubleshooting and practical maintenance work.
• Ability to work independently, structured, and with good communication skills.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience from heat, energy, or power-producing facilities.
• Experience with PLC programming (advantageous, but not a requirement).
• Experience with industrial safety routines and standards.
