For our operations in Lindesberg, we are looking for a mechanical designer who wants to combine their technical expertise with the opportunity to drive improvement projects that make a real difference in our machinery fleet. Your overarching responsibility will be to provide design expertise in projects related to the acquisition and investment in machinery and machine parts.

Examples of tasks:

• Design and construct machinery and machine parts using CAD (Autodesk Inventor).
• Identify and drive technical improvements in our machinery fleet.
• Document and catalog machine modifications.

We are looking for you who have technical education in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience. You have at least a couple of years of experience in design within the manufacturing industry, as well as knowledge of CAD.

• Some years of experience in design, preferably within the machinery or workshop industry.
• Good knowledge of CAD (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, or Creo).

As a person, you are innovative and solution-oriented, handling situations and problems with fresh thinking and creativity. You are meticulous and structured, working systematically towards goals. You thrive in a role where you take individual responsibility but also collaborate with others.
