About the role

Sweden Pelagic AB receives herring directly from fishing vessels and processes premium Swedish herring raw material for the canning industry in Sweden and across Europe. We sort, fillet, season, and marinate the herring before packing it into barrels.

We are now looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team in Ellös. In this role, you will work closely with our Sales Manager and play a central part in our daily sales operations. The position involves broad responsibilities with a focus on order processing, transport booking, and customer service. You will also be involved in implementing a new logistics and order management system, giving you the opportunity to influence and develop our future working methods.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Assistant, you will:

• Handle and administer customer orders
• Plan and book transports
• Maintain daily contact with customers and partners
• Ensure smooth and planned deliveries
• Support the Sales Manager in operational tasks
• Handle documentation and follow-up related to sales, quality documentation, and logistics

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in administrative work, preferably within sales, logistics, or order management
• Is self-motivated, structured, and driven
• Has strong problem-solving skills and thrives in a flexible work environment
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Is proficient in computer applications
