About the Role

As a nurse, you are the hub for the residents' health and medical care efforts, working to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical orders are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure high quality in operations.

Collaboration and Support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you give each resident the best possible life. You work closely with the facility's Head of Health and Social Care (HSL) and with group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers coach and work together with the teams in daily operations.

Villa Idun is located in a new and well-planned residential area in Enköping, approximately 35 minutes from Stockholm. Here you have proximity to public services, transport, and city life, as well as nature. Just a stone's throw away is the railway station in Enköping – sometimes called "Sweden's closest city".

Both permanent and short-term places

Villa Idun offers places for the elderly with dementia and care places. In addition to permanent residential places, there is short-term accommodation.

Your Experience and Knowledge

We would like you to:

• Be coaching and want care staff to grow, develop, and take responsibility.
• Enjoy giving and receiving feedback, as well as breaking down and working towards set goals.
• Be solution-oriented and see opportunities before obstacles.
• Be unpretentious, independent, and willing to collaborate.
• Be business-minded by wanting and having the ability to steer and follow up on operations based on quality goals and economic frameworks.
• Are a licensed nurse with experience in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-morbid, which requires that you have both broad knowledge of different diseases and conditions, as well as an interest in the aging human being.
