About the Location

Vuollerim is a small, warm, and vibrant village located four miles south of Jokkmokk's urban area, right next to Road 97 where the Lule Rivers meet in their delta. Here you will find a shop, restaurant, school, and elderly care characterized by care and social contact.

We are now looking for Assistant Nurses who want to provide good care and support to our residents at our Care and Support Home, Bjärkagården. Do you want to help maintain good service and security to preserve a vibrant rural community? We welcome your application!

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of an assistant nurse include providing a good quality of life for our residents based on a person-centered approach. The work mainly consists of care and support tasks and the ability to contribute with social support and guidance. Service tasks such as cleaning and laundry are also performed. You should be able to work both independently and in collaboration with others in the work team.

We use various digital tools, so you need to have knowledge of how to use digital technology and be familiar with using a computer in daily work for documentation. We use Pulsen Combine as our business system.

Working hours are flexible based on the needs of the operation and your preferences. Our operations run 24 hours a day. This position is 100% Day/Evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a positive, engaged, and responsible person with good empathetic skills. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, both in speech and writing, as communication and documentation are a large and important part of the work.

The applicant should have an Assistant Nurse education, or alternatively other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability, maturity, and teamwork skills. A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the protected professional title must be presented upon potential employment.
