Psykosvård Stockholm is a new unit within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO), where we have consolidated all our existing outpatient clinics and inpatient wards for patients with psychotic disorders into a single organizational entity.

We are now looking for a Senior Physician who wants to help shape the future of psychosis care.

About the Role

As a Senior Physician, you will work with assessment and treatment in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team consisting of other staff groups. The role also involves handling psychiatric involuntary care. Your primary responsibility is to work clinically within Psykosvård Stockholm's inpatient services and contribute to the development of working methods and quality within the organization. The position is based at S:t Görans Hospital or Danderyd Hospital, and the role may also require working at other inpatient wards within the organization as needed. There are good opportunities to engage in development work and supervision.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a specialist physician in psychiatry and are interested in psychiatric inpatient care. You have experience working in accordance with the Mental Health Care Act (LPT) and other relevant legislation. Previous experience in a senior physician role, or experience in supervision and on-call duties within psychiatric care, is meritorious.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy teamwork. You take responsibility for your work, contribute to an open and inclusive climate, and possess strong communication skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), is required in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
