Smedbygården is a private group home for elderly individuals with dementia. We have been located at Solskiftesvägen 5 in Åkersberga since 1995. Our operations are based on respect, knowledge, and empathy. In that order.

Residents live in a home-like environment with their own furniture. The houses are single-story with pleasant outdoor areas and green surroundings. Additionally, we prepare our own meals. The groups are small, and the staff's understanding of each person's life situation and illness ensures that our residents receive a high quality of life and good care.

We have been ISO-certified for quality since 2008.

You have an interest in working with the elderly who have dementia. You want to contribute to treating our residents in a way that makes them feel secure and receive good care. You are interested in helping those with dementia have a dignified and joyful daily life. You are positive and flexible and enjoy cooking. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Your main tasks will be to meet the residents' needs and wishes based on individual implementation plans. You will also monitor and evaluate the quality of interventions daily. Your work tasks are planned and evaluated together with the resident, relatives, and colleagues. Your work also includes performing daily chores, such as cooking from scratch.
