Are you a driven food safety expert who thrives on variety, flexibility, and quickly adapting to new operations? Do you want to become part of our network and be matched with exciting assignments at food companies in the Mälardalen region? Then we want to hear from you!

At Randstad, we help the food industry ensure the highest quality and regulatory compliance. We are currently seeing an increasing demand for senior QA expertise in the Mälardalen region, which is why we are building up our consultant network for upcoming and urgent assignments (e.g., during parental leave, peak work periods, or specific certification projects).

Responsibilities

As a QA consultant for our clients, your tasks may vary depending on the nature of the assignment and your level of experience. Examples of common assignments include:

• Certification Project Manager: Implement or upgrade management systems according to BRCGS, IFS, or FSSC 22000.
• Interim QA Manager / Specialist: Step in to manage daily quality operations, handle HACCP, deviations (CAPA), and authority contacts during a transition period.
• Audit Leader: Conduct internal audits or prepare organizations for external customer and certification audits.
• Hygiene and Process Optimization: Train staff and ensure that hygiene routines are followed in production.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, self-motivated, and flexible as a person. Since you need to quickly build trust with the client, you are communicative and solution-oriented.

We want to hear from you if you have:

• Education: Academic degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Agronomy, Chemistry, or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 3–5 years of practical experience in QA/QC work within food production.
• Expertise: Excellent knowledge of HACCP, Swedish food legislation, and international standards (GFSI).
• Location: You reside in or can easily commute to assignments within the Mälardalen region.
• Languages: You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English.
