At Hagaströms School, we have approximately 320 students from preschool class to grade 6. There are two classes in each grade. Our school is located in a natural setting and has its own forest on the school grounds. Within walking distance, there is also a sports field called Haga IP. Our goal is for all students and adults to feel safe and happy at the school.

We are now looking for an engaged teacher for Hagaströms School who wants to be part of our team for grades 4–6, preferably in mathematics and natural sciences. Responsibilities

We offer a daily routine where you have the opportunity to make a real difference. Every day you meet students who need your security, your leadership, and your belief in their abilities. And every day you meet colleagues who support, inspire, and share the joy of seeing students succeed.

Together with your colleagues, you design a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. You challenge and support the students so that they achieve good academic results and adapt your teaching to the needs and prerequisites of all students. The work is carried out according to decided goals and guidelines in collaboration with other educators, student health services, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Class responsibility with mentorship.
• You are responsible for planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation of the teaching.
• You support and challenge the students so that they achieve good academic results and adapt the teaching to their different needs and prerequisites.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated and engaged, with good subject knowledge and a desire to make a real difference. You have the ability to create an inspiring learning environment and thrive in a job where both clear frameworks and relationship-building have room to flourish.

• We are looking for you with a teaching license with eligibility to teach in grades 4-6, preferably mathematics/natural sciences.
• You have the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language as well as general knowledge and experience of digital tools.
• You are familiar with and have knowledge of the curriculum for primary school.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Relationship-building skills and quickly build safe, trusting relationships that make students happy and feel included.
• A collaborative approach, where you contribute positively and solution-focused in collaboration with colleagues, student health services, and guardians.
• Good structure and planning skills, which enables you to organize teaching well and work systematically with planning, implementation, and follow-up.
• A clear and inclusive leadership style, where you create study quiet, motivate students, and adapt teaching based on their needs.

As a final candidate, you must be able to provide a police certificate of good conduct for work in schools or preschools. This should not be attached to your application.
