In Sandviken's municipal primary schools, we work in a culture where collaboration and systematic quality work go hand in hand. Murgårdsskolan is located centrally in Sandviken and is close to everything, including nature. Göransson Arena, Ferrum Arena, and Parkbadet are within walking distance. For the school year 26/27, Murgårdsskolan will be a grades 3-9 school, with approximately 300 students in grades 7-9.

WORK ASSIGNMENTS

Are you our new teacher for our special education group? Do you burn to make a difference where it is needed most? Are you a creative problem solver who sees opportunities where others see obstacles? Then we might be looking for you!

We are now looking for an engaged teacher, preferably with strong competence in mathematics/science (NO), for our special education group. Here we work with students who sometimes have complex issues and who need a safe, adapted, and stimulating learning environment to reach their goals. In the role of a teacher with us, you become a key person in the students' daily lives. You are responsible for planning and conducting teaching that is tailored to each student's unique needs and prerequisites. Since the students sometimes face great challenges in their learning, it is required that you are creative in your pedagogical approach and have the ability to find alternative ways forward.

You contribute by:

• Creating teaching that starts from the students' needs and prerequisites
• Being a clear leader and role model in the classroom
• Building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians

• Sharing experiences and knowledge in collegial forums
• Working with a solution-focused approach
• Developing teaching together in work teams
• Having a shared responsibility for the students' safety and learning

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you? We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in people and are driven by seeing students grow, both academically and socially. We are looking for you who have pedagogical insight and preferably a specialization or strong competence in mathematics and science (NO). You are receptive and have a good ability to build trusting relationships with students and guardians. You are solution-focused and have the patience to try new methods when the traditional ones are not enough. You have very good collaboration skills, as the work takes place in close cooperation with colleagues, student health teams, and other external actors.

For the assignment, the following is required:

• Teacher certification with eligibility for teaching in grades 7-9
• Good knowledge of the primary school's steering documents
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written

It is meritorious if you have experience working in a special education group or with students who have extensive needs for special support.

The position will be filled if necessary decisions are made.
