RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Kitchen Manager at the Service Administration of Hammarö Municipality, you will lead and distribute work in the kitchen and participate in daily production. You are responsible for planning, purchasing, administrative tasks such as internal billing, accounting, ordering, and self-control/HACCP, among other things. Leadership, development of the operations, and the employees' working environment are important parts of the Kitchen Manager role.

In the role of Kitchen Manager, you work to ensure that the kitchen staff work together towards the same goals, creating a thriving work group that performs at the top level. Together, we prepare and serve our customers delicious, well-cooked, and nutritious meals.

As a Kitchen Manager, you have a good grasp of the economy, follow routines and guidelines, and relay information to the work group. The job also involves promoting sustainable development by, among other things, minimizing food waste and chemical cleaning agents.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a trained cook with several years of experience in large-scale kitchens or restaurants, or with other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in leadership is a requirement. The role requires that you can communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of special diets in preschools, schools, and elderly care, as well as good computer skills.

You have an interest in preparing tasty and nutritious meals, and you value the importance of good service and a positive attitude. You have good knowledge of hygiene regulations and relevant legislation.
