About the Role
We are currently looking for a Technical Inspector for a production unit in Gothenburg. As an inspector, you will be a central part of the quality assurance process, ensuring that products meet drawing requirements, standards, and customers' high expectations. You will be responsible for quality control of everything from cabling and circuit boards to complete subsystems and finished products.
The work combines practical checks with analytical problem-solving. When a deviation occurs, you are the one who identifies the cause, documents it, and contributes to improvements. To ensure a secure start, you begin with an introduction where you get to know the products, processes, and working methods. You will then gradually develop into more advanced assignments.
In this recruitment process, a background check in the criminal and conduct register will be conducted prior to any employment, in accordance with the client's requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure that manufactured products meet drawing requirements and relevant standards.
- Perform and document deviation management.
- Participate in problem-solving and improvement work.
- Document serial number lists and other quality data.
Who Are You?
We are looking for you who have experience from manufacturing and a natural eye for detail. You understand how different parts contribute to the whole and thrive in a technical, practical work environment.
You are meticulous, responsible, and work equally well independently as part of a team. Collaboration across departmental boundaries is second nature to you, and you contribute with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
Qualifications
- Technical education or equivalent experience.
- Experience in cabling or electronics production, or relevant education.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail in quality work.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, especially with the Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in soldering or IPC standards.
- Experience in manufacturing environments.
- Experience with deviation management and problem-solving.
- Experience with business systems, preferably IFS.
