About the Role

Are you a driven and engaged physician who wants to contribute to development, quality, and good results? We are now looking for a general specialist who wants to strengthen our operations and take the next step in the development of future healthcare together with us.

This is a unique opportunity for a varied and stimulating combined position where you divide your time between the Vaccination Department and the Southern Sundet Health Center.

In this role, you will work with traditional tasks within the health center, while also contributing to the region's vaccination work, including:

• Vaccination initiatives
• Refugee health care
• Contact tracing

Here, you will encounter two closely cooperating units with well-established collaboration and a shared focus on the patient's best interest. We are now taking the next step and further developing our way of working, where this combined position plays a key role.

We are looking for a general specialist who wants to make a difference. The position is a permanent, full-time employment with start date according to agreement.

Responsibilities

We also offer good opportunities for flexibility, with some possibility of remote work and combining the position with studies or research. Your tasks will include, among others:

• Standard primary care work
• Collaboration with SÄBO (care for people with disabilities) and home health care
• Mentoring medical students from the medical program
• Standard part-time duties and some primary care on-call shifts
• Developing vaccination plans, prescriptions, and training
• Infection control work, such as contact tracing and Sminet reports
• Support for refugee nurses
• Refugee health care

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a specialist in general medicine with the eligibility to practice in Swedish healthcare
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish
• Has a valid B-class driver's license

It is an advantage if you

• Have additional language skills
