Länssjukvård Somatik coordinates the county hospital care for specialized somatic care in Region Västernorrland. The somatic area consists of eleven county hospital units. The county hospital units operate at three hospitals: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, as well as several clinics located in various towns in the county. The area has approximately 2,400 employees.

The Department of Child and Adolescent Medicine (BUM) is part of Länssjukvård Somatik and employs approximately 200 people. Child and Adolescent Medicine includes both inpatient and outpatient care, day care, play therapy, and SSIH children. Within BUM, children and adolescents aged 0–18 are treated. On the neonatal ward 45, premature babies from week 28 and sick newborns are cared for. The ward has 9 beds, ranging from children who are co-parented with their parents to intensive care with advanced technology.

We are now looking for a Nursing Assistant for our team at the Neonatal Ward! The position is a full-time temporary assignment, available immediately or by agreement, until 2027-01-10.

• Family-centered care for premature or sick newborns.
• Close teamwork with other professions, such as nurses and doctors.
• Preparation and cleaning of medical technical equipment.

• Has further education as a Child Specialist Nursing Assistant.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Personal maturity.
• Good judgment.
• Collaborative skills.
• Empathy.
