We are currently looking for you who want to become part of our lovely team this summer and work as a personal assistant for our female client in Askersund.

What does this role involve?

In this position, you will be a supportive and helpful hand. You will motivate and accompany the client in their daily life, participate in daily activities, and provide support at home in the apartment.

The client is a person who enjoys music and animals. She does not have a verbal language but communicates using sign support and pictures, so experience in this area is a merit. The client needs help with all aspects of daily life, such as laundry, cleaning, cooking, and personal hygiene.

The client has autism and relies on routines and clarity in daily life. In this role, you may encounter unexpected situations, and it is important that you, as an assistant, feel confident in yourself. Our team works based on a low-arousal approach, where daily routines are of great importance.

We believe that you, as a candidate, have great patience and a good ability to read other people and stay one step ahead. We will place extra emphasis on your communication skills and understanding of other people.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• be able to understand and communicate clearly in Swedish.
• be able to work 24-hour shifts with on-call duties at the client's home.
• have experience in care and social services (a plus, but not a requirement).
• have experience with sign and/or picture support.
• have experience with low-arousal work methods.

Other information

Employment type: Hours as needed, plus a possible scheduled block over the summer.

Scope: Approximately 50% or as needed.

Working hours: 24-hour shifts from 15:00 to 15:00.

Start date: According to agreement.

We offer individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
