Sommelier/Maitre d' for Enoteca Cassise

We are now looking for a social, driven, and passionate individual who wants to become an integral part of our restaurant team.

For us, the dining experience is more than just food and wine. Therefore, we are looking for someone who loves people, has a natural sense of service, and thrives in a role where you create atmosphere, build relationships, and take responsibility.

As we are a smaller restaurant, we are seeking someone who desires a varied role where sommelier and maitre d' responsibilities go hand in hand.

About the role:

In this position, you will:

• welcome and take care of guests
• work with wine recommendations and beverage knowledge
• be responsible for bookings and guest communication via email and phone
• plan service and daily operations
• support and lead the service team during service
• work closely with the restaurant management
• contribute to events, wine tastings, and business development

We are looking for you who:

• have experience from the restaurant industry
• have a great interest in wine, food, and service
• are social, warm, and confident in interactions with people
• are organized and responsible
• enjoy juggling multiple tasks
• like working both operationally and administratively
• have natural leadership qualities

Sommelier training and previous experience as a maitre d' are advantageous, but personality and the right energy are equally important to us.
