Your Role

As a Connection Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work broadly with cases within the local grid, ranging from new connections and service changes to temporary electricity and other grid connection issues. You will follow cases through the entire process, from incoming inquiry to final solution. You will work closely with authorized installers, who are often the first point of contact in the process, but you will also interact with private individuals, companies, municipalities, landowners, and external contractors depending on the case.

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for connecting new customers to Ellevio's electricity grid in a customer-oriented, efficient, and cost-aware manner. You drive customer-initiated projects on the local grid (0.4 kV) to connect new customers or modify existing connections, where you are responsible for the dialogue with the customer from start to finish. This includes sending price proposals, dimensioning the connection, and ordering field execution from external contractors. Once the project is completed, you follow up on the work regarding cost and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate grid capacity and prepare grid calculations.
• Dimension solutions, such as cable selection and fuse sizes.
• Coordinate and order work from procured contractors.
• Review calculations, quotes, and completed work.
• Manage dialogue regarding changes and additional work.
• Follow up on economics and cost-effectiveness in projects.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a vocational, college, or university degree in electrical power, energy & environment, or similar. It is an advantage to have work experience in a similar area or alternatively in a customer-oriented role. For this position, you need to be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you appreciate a varied work environment, have a technical interest, and are eager to continue learning more within the field of electrical power. You are solution-oriented, work at a high pace with the customer in focus, and have a service-oriented attitude.

This is a consultancy assignment based in Stockholm, where you will be employed by Clevry and work as a consultant at Ellevio. The start date for the position is after the summer, and you are offered an initial contract of 12 months. The position is full-time, and you work weekdays during office hours. We will conduct reference checks, a credit check, and a background check.
