We are now looking for a Breakfast Shift Leader for the Scandic Infra City hotel.

What does the role of Breakfast Shift Leader entail?

As someone working in our restaurant, you are the first person the guest meets. Therefore, it is crucial that you have a warm attitude, are attentive to details, and aware of the guest's needs. You have a burning interest in food and beverage and enjoy order and structure, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All of this to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be serving food and beverages and being responsible for your own cash register. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

In the role of Shift Leader, you are responsible for hosting duties for the entire hotel, both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operations, you have an overall overview of the guest flow in the restaurant and, together with the team, ensure that tasks are prioritized so that operations run smoothly and guests are satisfied. You lead and distribute the work and handle staffing during your shift. As needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel, and you will assist the Restaurant Manager with certain administrative tasks.

Who are you?

To fit the role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in similar work, as well as experience in concept-driven operations. You have both the ability and the desire to work with a hands-on leadership style. You are confident in your leadership and possess both integrity and sales drive. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall results. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.
