The municipality has a well-functioning central child and student health service with dedicated employees who have extensive experience and broad competence. The main focus is on health-promoting and preventive work. The combined student health work, both centrally and locally in the schools, is an important factor for students' security, development, and goal achievement.

DUTIES

As a school nurse within Hofors Municipality, you are employed by the central child and student health service and work with one or more schools in the municipality.

You work according to current laws and governing documents. You should be able to work both independently and in a team and have a desire to contribute to the further development of the municipality's student health services. A good ability to contribute to cooperation and close collaboration with different actors and competencies within the municipality and region is a prerequisite for successful work.

The majority of the work is done out at the schools, where you are part of the local student health team. The work at the school includes, among other things, health conversations, health examinations, vaccinations, and open reception with simpler healthcare interventions for students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed specialist nurse with a focus on district nursing, health care for children and young people, or school nursing.

We would appreciate it if you have previous experience working with children and young people, and it is an advantage if you have previous experience working as a school nurse. The position includes journal writing in PMO. It is a requirement that you can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and that you master using the computer as a work tool.

You have knowledge of the school's organization and governing documents, knowledge and experience of working with students, especially students in need of special support, and preferably good knowledge of multilingualism.

Driver's license category B and, if necessary, access to a private car.

Salary: Monthly salary.
