Sandvikens psychiatric clinic is part of the specialized psychiatry within Region Gävleborg and is responsible for providing interventions that promote mental health and quality of life. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist physician with us, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and contributing to the development of the operations. You will collaborate actively with other professions within the clinic, such as psychologists, nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic care. You are also expected to be able to supervise and teach younger colleagues and other professional groups.

As a specialist physician in digital psychiatry, you will be physically present at the clinic every fourth week. Additionally, you must be available for on-call and standby duties when working on-site.

As a specialist physician with us, you will work among other things with:

• Assessment and treatment of patients with various psychiatric conditions, including affective disorders, anxiety syndromes, personality disorders, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
• Conducting psychiatric investigations, making diagnostic decisions, and creating individual treatment plans.
• Medical evaluation and follow-up of patients' treatment and medication.
• Guiding conversations and support for patients to strengthen their mental health.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a specialist physician in psychiatry who combines high medical competence with a humble approach. You are a person who values collaboration and contributes to a safe and inclusive work environment where both patients and colleagues feel seen and respected. With good communication skills and sensitivity, you build trusting relationships and enjoy working cross-professionally to create the best possible care for the patient.

In the role of specialist physician, you must have:

• Swedish medical license with specialist training in psychiatry.
• Documented clinical experience.

For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience working in psychiatric outpatient care, and you should also have a genuine interest in medical research and patient safety.
