Folktandvården Skutskär is part of the Public Dental Service in Uppsala County, where our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation services, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we tailor our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

To our pleasant and modern clinic in Skutskär, we are now looking for a new colleague who wants to become part of our dedicated team! Here you will work at a medium-sized clinic with a convenient commuting distance from Gävle and Uppsala.

The clinic has 7 treatment rooms and currently consists of 16 employees along with the clinic management. You will be met by a workplace characterized by high competence, great engagement, and pride in the high-quality dental care and service we offer our patients.

As an employed dental nurse in Skutskär, you are entitled to a favorable location supplement of 1,000 SEK per month.

Your assignment

We offer a varied and developing job with a patient clientele of both children and adults, good colleagues, and opportunities for continuous development. The position includes assistance, sterile work, and some reception duties. It is an advantage if you have experience working with your own patients.

Folktandvården offers a comprehensive course program every year as your professional development is important to us. For you who are a newly graduated dental nurse, there are experienced colleagues at the clinic, and you will receive a mentor as well as participate in Region Uppsala's introductory year for dental nurses.

Your qualifications

To apply for this position, you must have completed and been approved for the dental nurse education. It is an advantage if you have previous professional experience as a dental nurse or work experience within service professions as well as within healthcare and social care. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
