Child Health Clinic in Gävle welcomes children and adolescents aged 0-17 for specialist care

Our interventions are tailored to the needs of the children, and their rights are our highest priority. We have high competence across many different professions, including pediatric nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, psychologists, doctors, secretaries, and play therapists. We are a team of 40 employees working together to create opportunities for better health for more children and young people. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Pediatric Nurse for a permanent position. As a Pediatric Nurse with us, you will work to provide safe and professional care to our youngest patients and their families in an environment where every day offers meaningful encounters and challenges.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Providing care in the children's home environment
• Pedagogical and medical preparation work
• Education for people in the children's immediate circle
• Treatment of various diagnoses and sample collection
• Telephone advice
• Coordination of interventions for both planned and urgent visits
• Running your own nurse clinic

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a strong empathetic ability and always put the needs of the child and family in focus. You have a natural ability to create security, listen, and meet every child and parent with warmth and understanding, even in challenging situations. You have good collaboration skills and are a valued team player who contributes to a positive work environment.

Furthermore, you are proactive, drive your work forward by identifying and acting on improvement opportunities, and have good pedagogical insight, guiding children and parents through the care process in a responsive manner.

As a Pediatric Nurse, you must:

• Be a registered nurse with specialist education in child and adolescent healthcare
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Hold a valid B-driver's license

Previous experience in pediatric healthcare is considered an advantage for this position.

Employment type: Permanent position.
