ST Physician in Internal Medicine at Bollnäs Hospital

Bollnäs Hospital has an emergency medical mandate for southern Hälsingland. We do not have emergency surgical operations, which places high competency requirements on those who work here – the ability to make quick decisions with limited resources. This is seen as part of the charm of working at a smaller hospital.

The operational area includes an emergency department, three wards (stroke unit, nephrology, HIA) and an intensive care unit. Outpatient clinics are available for gastroenterology, rheumatology, neurology, hematology, cardiology, physlab, endocrinology, nephrology, PD and dialysis. We who work here are proud of our small, lovely hospital with high medical competence. The patient is our biggest focus, and by helping each other, we create a good working climate.

Job Responsibilities

An individual training program is established, including an overall training and employment plan. You are also offered time for personal development with great opportunities to participate in courses and conferences. Your individual plan is reviewed continuously with a supervisor and study director. As an ST physician with us, you will among other things work with:

• Investigation, treatment and follow-up within the entire internal medicine field.
• Supervision of BT, AT and medical students.
• Development of operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with the goal of becoming a specialist in internal medicine. You should be independent with good self-awareness, flexible and positive to variation, as well as engaged and interested in the work and your own development.

As an ST physician, you should:

• Be a licensed physician.
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.
Start date: According to agreement.
