About the role
We are looking for someone with an interest in construction technical issues and who thrives in customer contact roles, for one of perhaps the most rewarding positions as a construction damage adjuster. You will work within the claims organization and belong to our group of construction technicians who together handle construction damage claims for private individuals, businesses, and farmers.
You will guide customers through the claims process, investigate and assess the right to compensation, and make independent decisions based on insurance terms and legislation. The work is varied and involves many contacts, primarily via phone and digital channels, but sometimes also on-site at the customer's location. You will handle multiple cases simultaneously and work proactively to ensure that every customer receives professional treatment – something crucial to our ambition of offering the best customer experience in the market. You will actively work to ensure the customer has the correct insurance coverage and advise our advisory colleagues on needs. You will be part of an engaged team working with construction and business damage claims and belong to a department of approximately 13 claims adjusters within the company, possessing very broad competence.

Who are you?
You do not need previous experience in the insurance industry or claims adjustment, as we will train you internally. We are looking for you with practical experience from the construction industry in roles such as carpenter, construction project manager, electrician, plumber, or equivalent. In this role, you should view the computer and phone as natural work tools, and it is important that you have good communication skills in both speech and writing.
You are engaged, proactive, and have strong collaboration skills. You may need to travel to a customer affected by damage for inspection when necessary. You can prioritize among many ongoing cases and are flexible when conditions change. You have good communication skills and can explain and justify your decisions in a pedagogical and clear manner – both verbally and in writing. You have a good command of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. Additional language skills are meritorious.
