Borås Bil Accident Repair Centre in Viared is now looking for a Body Shop Painter/Prep Technician who wants to deliver high-quality paint repairs and contribute to a secure customer experience. We are looking for someone who has:

• A strong interest and experience with vehicles and technology
• Experience with Cabas and CAB Plan
• Genuine commitment to customer service
• A valid Class B driver's license
• Professional and friendly attitude towards both customers and colleagues

We are looking for you with experience working with body painting in an accident repair shop. You are self-sufficient, have a high standard of finish in your work, and have a good understanding of the painting process. As a colleague, you contribute to a positive and supportive work climate and can prioritize to meet delivery times without compromising on quality.

You will be working with

As a Painter/Prep Technician, you are responsible for performing preparatory work before painting, such as sanding, masking, filling, priming, plastic repair, and finishing according to the workshop's routines and manufacturer instructions. You work closely with the damage and sheet metal team as well as customer reception to ensure efficient flows and that vehicles are delivered in a professional and excellent customer-friendly condition.

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming before painting
• Experience with plastic repair is an advantage
• Check quality and finish and rectify deviations before delivery
• Good technical understanding of materials, surface treatments, and repair instructions
• Collaborate with bodywork and sheet metal workers to ensure correct work orders and schedules
