Do you want to develop unique products where you can contribute your technical interest to reduce global climate impact? Do you have experience in project management or development in a regulated environment? At Medclair, you will play a central role in developing world-unique solutions for nitrous oxide management in a flexible and forward-looking company.

About the Role

This position is a direct hire, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Bravura and you will be employed directly by Medclair.

About the Company

Medclair is a Swedish cleantech company founded in 2013 with a clear ambition: to reduce the climate impact of nitrous oxide while simultaneously improving the working environment in healthcare-related operations. Nitrous oxide is a common medical gas used in areas such as maternity care, pediatric care, and dentistry – but it is also one of the most potent greenhouse gases. Medclair has therefore developed innovative purification technologies that effectively capture and destroy nitrous oxide before it is released into the atmosphere.

Medclair has established itself as a leading player in the field, with customers in both public and private healthcare. In addition to its main products, Medclair also provides after-sales service, technical support, and preventive maintenance to ensure long-term operation and customer satisfaction. They have their strongest market presence in the Nordics, but have quickly built an impressive global presence with products distributed in over 20 countries.

At Medclair, you become part of a flat organization, which means short decision-making paths. You will join an engaged team in a forward-driving corporate culture.

Responsibilities

The role is technical, practical, and varied, involving both new development and driving improvements in existing systems. You will drive work from the prototype stage to a finished, certified, and manufacturable product. You work practically and technically close to the design and act as the link between R&D, production, and external suppliers. A large part of the role involves commercializing solutions developed in R&D – where you make technical assessments, select components, review test reports from third-party labs, and ensure that products meet relevant regulations.

Key Tasks:

  • Identify and qualify components and suppliers
  • Ensure designs follow regulatory directives
  • Support production with technical questions, troubleshooting, and improvement work
  • Perform ongoing adjustments and improvements to existing products
  • Work closely with product designers and development teams to drive projects forward
  • Participate in the creation and testing of prototypes

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience or education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, technical design, or similar
  • At least 2 years of experience in the development of machinery, electronics, or medical devices
  • Experience with or understanding of CE marking and regulatory environments
  • Fluent in Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical technology and MDD/MDR
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485

Personal Qualities

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who combines strong operational drive with the ability to actively seek out information to move work forward. You thrive in an environment with a high pace but where collaboration is key. You are proactive and solution-oriented; instead of waiting for instructions, you actively seek information and build the collaborations needed to advance the work. You have the mandate and courage to make decisions, but do so with an openness that invites dialogue rather than defense. We value your ability to combine structure and analysis with a humble approach where you are happy to share your knowledge. You understand that our success is measured by collective delivery reliability, and you naturally take responsibility for contributing to an open and supportive communication culture.
